New business, new branding, new website!
The Darden Group. LLC is an executive construction management company owned by Akilah Darden, she is an MBA LEED Accredited Professional BD+C, President of The Darden Group, and a mother of 4. Her years of experience and accreditation made it easy to be inspired and give her branding and website the professionalism and direction it deserves.
From the initial inspiration of her love of purple and a more hand-drawn feel, I was able to steer her away from the idea that we had to do a blue and black color scheme, create a professional, timeless design that she can display proudly on her branded company letterhead, custom business cards, social media pages, and new website. Creating a seamless branding package that offers variety through continuity is key and allows your clients to see that you’re dedicated and invested in their success.
Designing the website (from scratch of course) was probably one of the easiest landing pages I’ve had the pleasure of designing. Keeping a monochromatic theme and simple animations allowed for easy highlighting of key points while creating visual interest and leaves room for growth when they’re ready to expand their website as the company grows.
I also provided printed business cards, making sure that all files were submitted correctly for printing and leaving less on her plate to deal with. Every part of this branding package was inspired and crafted with TDG’s best interest in mind. I see big things in their future and know that the growing following and lasting impressions will lead to amazing contracts for them to continue helping their community. They are:
